Our story is rooted in family, sacrifice, perseverance, and the American dream.
In 1998, Victor's mother immigrated to the United States in search of a better future for her family. While raising four children and earning just $6.25 an hour, she worked tirelessly to provide opportunities and build a foundation for success.
Growing up, Victor learned the value of hard work at an early age. At just 13 years old, he spent his Saturdays at CG&E Auto Body, where he was first introduced to the automotive industry. Surrounded by skilled technicians and family members already working in the trade, he quickly developed a passion for cars, craftsmanship, and customer service.
The automotive industry wasn't just a career path—it was part of his family's legacy. His father, uncle, brother, and grandfather all worked in the trade, teaching him the importance of discipline, integrity, and taking pride in every job.
Determined to master his craft, Victor joined FCC Collision, a respected family-owned collision repair shop that would play a major role in shaping his career. Over the next decade, he immersed himself in every aspect of the business, learning not only the technical side of collision repair but also the art of collision repair itself—the attention to detail, precision, craftsmanship, and pride required to restore a vehicle properly.
At age 21, Victor advanced into a A-Technician position, gaining valuable hands-on experience and continuing to develop his technical skills. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to learning, he was given opportunities to attend advanced training and certification programs that expanded his knowledge of repair techniques, vehicle systems, and industry standards.
By age 25, Victor had developed extensive experience in panel repair, vehicle damage assessment, repair planning, customer communication, and the many skills required to deliver high-quality collision repairs. More importantly, his years at FCC Collision taught him a lesson that would guide the rest of his career:
Trust, Honesty, and Quality Service Always Win.
Although FCC Collision is no longer in business today, the craftsmanship, mentorship, and values Victor learned there continue to influence the culture and customer experience at both AV Collision and CG&E Auto Body.
When the company he worked for was eventually sold to new ownership, Victor faced an important decision. Rather than leave the industry he loved, he chose to pursue his dream of business ownership and continue serving customers with the same values that had guided him throughout his career.
That dream became reality in 2020 when Victor purchased CG&E Auto Body—the very shop where he had spent countless Saturdays learning the trade as a young teenager.
For Victor, owning CG&E was more than a business decision. It was a full-circle moment. The shop that helped inspire his passion for collision repair had now become an opportunity to carry forward the values, craftsmanship, and customer-first approach that had shaped his career.
Built on integrity, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer care, Victor continued to grow CG&E Auto Body while remaining committed to treating every customer with honesty, respect, and transparency.
As the business flourished, Victor's vision continued to expand. In 2024, he opened a second Redwood City location, AV Collision, allowing him to serve more customers while maintaining the same commitment to quality workmanship and personalized service.
Today, both AV Collision and CG&E reflect everything Victor believes a collision repair business should be—where every vehicle is repaired with pride, every customer is treated like family, and every relationship is built on trust.
Together, the two locations represent not only Victor's professional journey but also his belief that success is earned through hard work, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving the community.
